Hello!
I am Micaela and I'm a Glasgow based artist, researcher, and policy nerd with an interest in the impact culture has on local communities.
I am a trained theatre artist and graphic designer, and I was a freelance creative worker for several years before shifting my focus to the policy that impacts creative workers. I completed an MSc Creative Industry and Cultural Policy at the University of Glasgow and currently work in cultural policy as a monitoring and evaluations officer reviewing the Future Paisley cultural investment for Renfrewshire Council.
My current role as well as my previous work as the Glasgow University Students' Representative Council VP Education have given me experience on all stages of policy work from initial consultation, to development and implementation, through to evaluation.
